Incidents of the past 24 hours regarding Greg are unfortunate.
Sometimes people do dumb things for good and genuine reasons. In the case of the TravisJ45 [GregStafford] deletions I believe something dumb happened, no more. Rick says he did not delete those pages and I believe him. Whether another administrator takes the time to explain why those pages were deleted into oblivion is up to them. I do not support what was done. I just believe that both Greg and the administrator performing the deletion made dumb mistakes. Based upon observations and experience I believe that the administrator responsible for the deletions acted with good and genuine intentions but nevertheless the deletion was imprudent.
I do not often manifest my presence onto this forum and that is for good reason. I do assure everyone here that benefactors of this site are people of integrity and do not intend to hide facts, but that does not mean that dumb things do not happen, they do. Please consider that maintaining this site is an enormous task, more than most realize. The history of H2O allowing frank and open exchange on matters affecting the very foundation of some beliefs held by Jehovah’s Witnesses testifies to the integrity of this sites benefactors, administrators, moderators and others.
In the interest of leveling this deletion issue to naught I want to confirm that AF’s post above is accurate. I will add that Greg himself did accept responsibility for that post prior to it being removed to oblivion. To my knowledge Greg did not ask for that post to be removed. I get regular requests for post removals. If Greg had requested the deletion then I expect he would have asked me. He did not.

In Rick’s message he highlights an important aspect for all of us to remember. It is not considerate of H2O that anyone uses this forum to hurl slanderous accusations toward other people without evidencing those claims. I encourage that moderators exercise their prerogative to delete such posts without hesitation. Besides violating H2O’s FPP they represent potential dangers to this site’s survival.
