A voice that has been strangely absent is that of Forum Director1. This is the type of situation where his role is perfectly mandated. A dispute has arisen regarding the deletion of a thread. Up to this point the moderator/Adminstrator has not yet provided an explanation for the deletion.
I think a judgement is required. If the post should not have been deleted and is not retreivable then an apology should be made to the board for the error. (One from Greg would be good as well) or in the alternative if it was justified your comments supporting the deletion would at least let the participants know H20's position.
I eagerly await hearing your viewpoint and decision in this regard. I believe that once the decision is made (regardless of what the decision is) than the process of moving on can happen. There will be people unhappy regardless of the decision but strongly feel one is needed
Silence is not a viable option IMO.
