Re: the look, I haven't spoken to any elders in over two years. Haven't set foot in a Kingdom Hall in almost 30 months. Although I did a job today for a sister who goes the congregation I used to attend before I got married, and is now the congregation my wife attends. She was very nice to me, asked about my brother and sister and parents and so forth. She obviously wasn't terribly stumbled by the fact that she sees my wife at meetings without me every week, and my hair stuck 8 inches out of the back of my cap.
When I went to the Halloween party as a JW, the first thing my friends wanted to be sure of was that I didn't cut my hair. No, I had it tucked into my shirt collar. Think I could get away with that at the Kingdom Hall?
