I know you don't like being asked to apologise, but I do feel that you owe at least Gedanken and Doug an apology. It's no good claiming that you're being expected to read 180,000 posts either - the posts they referred to were all posted just hours before those of Gedanken and Doug's.
I find it hugely ironic that you would use events surrounding Greg's departure as a trigger for your own pogrom, which would include among its vicims two of the better posters on the site.
While we're on the subject, have you made a decision concerning Alan's continued presence (or not)?
