I answered your question but for some reason the post got mixed up with Fred Halls - our names were crossed.

I don't think of JW's as a deception. I think it is one of many religions that evolved to solve certain orientational problems. What is man? How did we get here? Where are we going? What is our purpose? In fact I look at religion as "old science". Now that humans have developed the scientific method and numerous organizations devoted to research I don't see the need for religion. I do see the need for ethics in contrast to religious morality. Society needs to be stabilized in the reproductive department so that ehtics can catch up with science. As it stands now all our resources are being poured into the creeping glacier of warm meat that is advancing over the earth.

I feel that JW's is irrelevant. When I am by myself I work on my own philosophy and pet projects. When I am at the hall or an assembly I feel terrible about the waste of time. Not just the waste of my time but the time of most of the people there. Assemblies are the worst. Multiply the waste by a several thousand.

I hope I have answered your inquiry. How do you feel about JW's?
