I appreciate your opinion. But as I've said, there's a greater picture here than meets the eye. He has been deleted numerous times, multiple posts at a time and asked to please try to follow the FPP. He simply refuses to.
It's not a matter of the space that is taken up, although the space could be used for better things. You say this post wastes more space than his silly posts. But think about it, if it weren't for his ludicrous posts, I wouldn't have needed to post it in the first place.
I know darn good and well he's a troll, and we have absolutely no use for trolls. If it were only the participants here that had to put up with him, that would be one thing. But there are literally thousands of lurkers that read here everyday, and it's not helping move anything forward when good conversations are marred by his immature ramblings.
As I said, I'd actually be impressed if he could post something of value. I proved him wrong on a point he made a couple weeks back, and he never said anything about it. Just went on like it never happened.
I just think that if the rules state that such and such consequence will be administered for those who will not heed warnings or deletions, then we should follow through. Otherwise people can think they can just come in here and do whatever they want and not have to worry.
