Hello,
I read your recent letter expressing concern about having to continually defend your identity without revealing it. I would just like to say that each of us has to have our need to believe satisfied in some way because no one likes to feel like they've been fooled. You should not take this process personally. If you will be patient, more worthwile discussions will ensue. I know many of us want to believe you are who you say you are, but it seems too good to be true after so many years of being silenced and hurt.
I expressed concern from the beginning to Ros that using H2O to communicate is not ideal. I would much prefer that a list were created where mature ones who have not abandoned their Christian personality would be able tocommunicate with you more directly. Many of the "cream of the crop" of fomrer JWs do not want to come here because of the petty bickering and back-biting. Ones such as these would like to communicate with you without you or Ros having to sort through that type of garbage. The lists have been a way for many of us to have very productive and healing conversations without the negativity that is rampant here. I hpe something such as this will be available soon. Meanwhile, if you tire of taking attacks here, please realize there are many worthwhile ones who want to talk with you.
Now I am wondering, has the letter that you wrote to the GB members has been sent or received by them? How will you respond if you are asked point blank by them if you sent it? Did you consider trying to quietly get a majority of others on the GB who are reform-minded before writing this letter? Are you emotionally prepared to get the shaft? Why can't some reform-minded Bethel members infiltrate the GB to form the required majority on it?
I look forward to hearing from you again. If you are legitimate, I pray you will continue to communicate with us.
Sincerely,
Mel
P.S I already had the screen name Proveit4me before you arrived, so that was not personal.
