Greg clearly contradicted the teachings of the Society in his post.

Greg states that you can "Unknowingly serve God." Those "unknowingly serving God are not "his formal worshippers", meaning they are not Jehovah's Witnesses. The next two quotes from Greg prove that he made such statements.

QOUTE: "Here we can plainly see that “people of the nations,” those not belonging to God’s chosen nation of worshipers, and who act apart from law, can in fact “demonstrate the matter of law to be written in their hearts,” for by means of their own thoughts and conscience “they are being accused or even excused.” Thus, God’s judgement will be rendered favorably and unfavorably upon those who are not necessarily His formal worshipers, based on the “secret things of mankind.” "

QUOTE: "..I will most certainly answer you now, and my answer is that these quotes from WT literature are clearly given in reference to those who knowingly serve God. That is, those who have come into contact with the truth as preserved in God’s Word and who accept it, will naturally recognize and associate with those of the same (biblical) faith. HOWEVER, there are those who may unknowingly serve God and be favorably judged through Christ by Him, and be “excused.”"

Greg Stafford directly contradicts the Society wtih his claims that you can "Unknowingly serve God".

He is just one quotes from a Watchtower publication that goes against what Greg claims.

*** w89 9/1 19 Remaining Organized for Survival Into the Millennium ***

7 Only Jehovah's Witnesses, those of the anointed remnant and the "great crowd," as a united organization under the protection of the Supreme Organizer, have any Scriptural hope of surviving the impending end of this doomed system dominated by Satan the Devil.

Since Greg's comments are directly in opposition of what the Society teaches, does this make him an "apostate".

Matthew
