:I just wish I had read this "response" from Stafford to AF before I wasted my money on his book.
One clue: If they won't answer one simple question with something other than "read my book" your money should go elsewhere. I have talked to authors before, one quite extensively. They can answer questions quite succinctly and specificly.
Notice that he refers to AF's answer to my question about his posting here as "a lie", but he himself didn't answer it, either now or before. His obcurity is deliberate. The idea is for someone to venture a statement about what they think he means or what he thinks the case is, then, having not answered clearly, if at all, he jumps in and denies what they propose. He has successfully shifted the issue from the fact that he has never answered any relevant questions to what is wrong with those who disagree. It's standard procedure. I have encountered it myself. They are silent or obscure at first, then they come in with a flurry of indignation. They never do answer the question. They just "establish" that the questioner is not worthy of a response. It's very convenient since there is no real answer that does not expose them.
Stafford is a supreme example of JW elitism. He can carry on an extensive debate with a known "apostate", yet "You Know" makes a scene over having to leave the sight due to being "outed".
Another question that has gone unanswered is why the WTS needs Stafford to speak for them. What they are is all too clear. Stafford reiterates it well.
