Let me start by saying that I don't believe Fred should
be "banned". (yet)
The moderators of this board do a fine job in attemting
to provide a platform for sincere (and sometimes
off-beat) discussions.
If Fred causes them a pain in causing them to
scrutinise his posts with painful regularity, then this
is something they should weigh up as well.
As for the rest of us...well we can just simply ignore
him. This cannot be said for the Moderators.
Let us hear what Fred has to say in his own defense
after reading all the responses to this main post.

The "feelings" many have toward Freddy is evident from

It took me 3 Fred Hall readings before I knew he was
nuts
I usually just skip his posts, but with several
THOUSAND people reading H20 monthly, he may be doing
more damage than we can see if allowed to continue.
Jerry Bergman stated in one of his books that he knew
of elders who had an I.Q. of around 70. Based on that
fact Fred may well be the P.O. in his Hall.
I will not even look at his posts.
Just ignore him
It is very obvious he is a troll
The only time they bother me is when he manages to
distract a good discussion, and this doesn't happen
much, because he lacks the skills to do it.
And he has a right to his ridiculous opinions and to
express them
I believe in freedom of speech, even for the misguided
and inarticulate
Save the band width he uses. Yes, in this unusual case
ban the bum
His posts are empty, but then they don't take much
bandwidth. It's hard to have an opinion on Fred.
He's the court jester. I have had many laughs after
reading his one-liners
I reccomend you REQUIRE him to put this at the
beginning of every post he writes:
"WARNING! The words you are about hear are the musings
of a braindead idiot."
He is just childish and kinda nuts...so let the guy
stay if he gets any kick out of telling us to read
rutherfords books.
