I spoke with someone in the "service department"
at Patterson today. (914-306-1000 transferred
from Brooklyn 718-560-5600)

I asked an older gentleman about the Nov 99 KM
INSERT. Also about the "or else" parts and how
that would be handled (enforced).

I am now convinced, more so than ever,that they
are SO SURE about the effectiveness of their
guilt-trip coercive-persuasion methods, that
they don't feel that they even HAVE TO worry
about how things will be handled at the local level.

"We concentrate mainly on helping people study
the Bible".
"Our guidelines for Jehovah's Witnesses use of
the internet are there in the insert".

He would not be specific about "what if" someone
refuses to stop using the internet and what would
be done about. Would they go into further details?

"The insert pretty well covers it". As he mentioned
"The individuals decisions" to do such-and-such,
(I can't put it verbatim) I suddenly felt that
I was Eddie Murphy talking to Victor Maitlan in
'Beverly Hills Cop'!!
I could almost hear it-

'I don't know what rock you've crawled out from
under, but you have NO IDEA who you're dealing
with'.

Their system of control DUMPS the evil grunt-work
on the locals! This spreads the blame and the
ability to even DEFINE the problems,quite thinly.

I felt as if he could use the same schpeel on
blood questions. I suspect he has.

They are not good,but they are good at it.
HOW they do it.....is the problem.
One I think is more serious than WHAT they claim
to be "truth".
