Folks,

Lion made a good point below; "To me the GB Member must prove to the other members of the Body that one of them is for Reform." Even if he is unable to prove to H2O's satisfaction that he is one of the GB, he could easily prove it to the rest of the GB without giving away his identity.

All he'd have to do is publish on H2O some information that only other GB members would know. Such as;

• The agenda of the last full GB meeting
  
• The title of the next major release
  
• The theme of the Keynote address for the next DC
  
• The study article for any Watchtower study article which has not yet gone to the Writing Committee

Any of these things would give sure proof to another GB member that Ros' contact is legit, and would effectively set the cat among the pigeons. In the longer term, it would give convincing evidence to the rest of us as the relevant Watchtower article comes out, or the programme of the next DC is announced.

I doubt that our wannabe GB member will do any of these things, and can't think of a good reason why not other than "(s)he can't".
