Proplog2,
You've made some interesting comments. You know that I know who you think GB is, but for me there are just too many red flags waving at us.
I wasn't going to bring this up, but now feel I must. I have a contact who is very connected at Bethel. He recently wrote me and said that "GB" is a hoax all the way." He also stated that the tenth floor regularly receives prank letters to the Governing Body from supposedly one or more "GB" members! Not daily, but "regularly." Why didn't "GB" mention this fact or offer other corroborating evidence that would confirm he's the real thing?
It wouldn't have to be much, either. Something as simple as describing a session where an unusual guest was present at a session. Or how many members attended last Wednesday's session, and who those members were?
He concluded by saying that real Bethel readers on this forum are laughing about the whole matter.
:Farkel has an irrational attitude toward you and others. He would like to be righteously indignant. His rash statements show him to
be righteously un-dignant.
I tell it like I see it. I've been wrong before and I've admitted it. If I'm wrong this time, I'll admit it. If it turns out that GB is a hoax will you eat your words about me being "irrational" towards him?
:I have given 50 years to this
organization and will be affected by it till I die because I place family unity above my personal beliefs.
Sadly enough, that makes you a hypocrite, doesn't it? And I consider that to be "irrational." What do they say about glass houses and stones? :)
:I don't feel any anger against the Governing Body because I see them as victims as much as
myself.
Yes they are victims: victims of their own arrogance, total lack of respect for scripture, and putting the organization above everything at the expense of real, breathing human beings.
:The reality is that "position" is just an abstraction.
:In those positions are humans with their own personal doubts and who are confused and disappointed on an almost unspeakable level with
the way things have turned out.
Huh? What do you mean by that?
