I remember an unfortunate case were an entire carload of JWs, out in field service, were killed when their car was struck by a train. I am still waiting for the ban on automobiles in service.
You have obviously gotten the point with your example of the little boy falling to his death. Many of the WTS rules and regulations are pitifully thought-out. But, the do lead to control and make JWs different.
