Please explain just this one point. I can't get past Luke 22:7.
Thanks....
By the way, per Jewish tradition, the Sedar meal is eaten on the 15th and not the 14th. Did they get it wrong?
Recapping, here are your two specific questions:
1) At what time are you claiming the lambs were sacrificed?
2) At what time are you generally claiming that Jesus sent his disciples out?
If you answer those two questions specifically, I will understand how you are interpreting Luke 22:7. Thanks.
Cheers,

Let me begin by saying that I have never see the problem that you're seeing with this episode of Jesus' death, or more specifically the day of his Death.
OK…Luke answers the question as to what day Jesus sent his disciples to prepare the Passover, 22 v7. Now, as to what time of day it was that he sent them, it really doesn't matter. There are two possible scenarios here that could have happened.
1) Jesus and his disciples could have shared a meal with the mystery person Jesus knew, Mark 14 v13. And, incidentally, Mark tell us where Jesus was while his disciples were preparing the Passover.
2) Jesus' disciples could have purchased the lamb and prepared it themselves.
NOTE: I personally believe that the person to whom Jesus sent his disciples had already had the LAMB and was keeping it for this date to be prepared according to the prescription of EX 12:.
We do know that the Lambs were eaten on the 14th, which began at sundown, so it was actually the 13th that Jesus sent his disciples to prepare the Passover, but the Lamb wasn't killed until that EVENING per Jewish law which began the 14th. EX 12 v6.
Any comments???
