OK, I’m an inactive Witness but my parents are active.
For them, the 1914 fiasco as well as the other date false prophecies were just sincere attempts at interpreting the Bible hidden meanings. It does not bother them a bit.
They have wasted their lives, but so what? The resurrection will give them enough time to catch up with any enterprise they desire to pursue.
