I'll take a peak at the other posts in a few...
It took me awhile to come around because even tho' I knew something was wrong I figured it was a more local type thing not necessarily an Organizational thing. So when my SIL challenged me and my husband told me a few things I started checking it out for myself (to pove them wrong, of course.) That is when it all started to fit together.
The checking things out bit got to me too. I remember a time when you COULD ask questions, not like now. And we were encouraged to be like the Bereons, to examine all that was taught. That was a red flag for me also.
