No. I have never held the Society as the focal point of my faith. As far as I am concerned that entity has always been a fallible resource. For that reason their changes have had little affect upon me.
The aspect of the Society that I find most favorable is that it builds association with those holding views similar to my own, especially the aspect of being active preachers using the Bible.
