If you're so concerned about the meaning behind everything then burn your calenders, and don't ever wear a wedding ring. The days of the week are named after pagan Gods, the wedding ring originated with pagans. Oh yeah, I almost forgot about this, but also don't believe in Jesus since there are stories predating him back to the Greek Mithras describing a "savior" who is murdered in the same fashion that Jesus was.
