You too seem to be forgetting that we are people who have been there. I personally saw children taken to the rest room and spanked hard for squirming in their seats. I have seen children smacked hard on the legs, then smacked again if they cried.
I don't know how it is now, and maybe you are in a better congregation than some. But the abuse has happened and has alarmed some of us.
I congratulate you if you have not made the congregation meetings a living hell for your children.
