It is true that they do not baptize infants, but how old should one be before making a dedication to Jehovah? Would a child about to enter the 2nd grade be old and mature enough and intellectually prepared to take that important step? Such was my case as I bowed to my dad’s pressure (he had urged me a year earlier too!). My dad was concerned that I might not survive Armageddon if I did not get baptized right a way. That was 6 decades ago!
