Thank you for your post. I did not grow up in the WTS. I was raised Catholic. I was baptized into truth in 1977 and I think from my experience of being around JW's who where raised in the truth they have no "self" image. It is good to be challanged by what bibleman says cause it makes you think about who you are, who you want to be, and how you want others to see you. Even though we are all posting on this board everyone's personality comes out. JW" look the same, talk the same, walk the same, CLONES. Jehovah did not create us to be clones. Jehovah did create us to be able to tell the difference between right and wrong. The WTS has done a terriable thing to many people. The WTS has underminded a persons ablity to trust themselves by restricting association, and information. Trust yourself to figure it out. Trust Jehovah and Jesus. Think of where you were say 10 years ago and think about where you are now. Are not alot of things more clear! I understand about the pain of getting hurt. Pain can be good too cause it exposes weakness and enables us to strengthen ourselves. I personally don't worry about what others believe cause it is all about personal choices. Jehovah's teachings through Jesus gives me a means of testing what I believe to see if what I believe is true or not. Worry about what YOU believe. I feel Bibleman is a good example of this. He makes us think and grow, feel, and tests our beliefs. We just need to wait, and trust Jehovah even when things are not always clear. It takes time to get rid of negitive stinky thinking !
