That's way too ambiguous because "has application" can mean just about anything. I'd rather put it this way: Teaching that the Sheep/goat/judgment might begin after today (right now not next year) would be a “serious mistake.” Or even more simply: The sheep/goat/judgment is being done right now.

Indeed I saw that. Trying to decipher it is what showed me that that language is extremely difficult to understand. One mark of a good writer is that readers don't have to go back and reread the text ten times in order to get the sense. The very fact that several intelligent people must debate the meaning of a few words in the Survival book shows that the writing is very poor.
