Raised as a Baptist, I always had a problem with the trinity doctrine; it made no sense, and I have a logical mind. Also, why we are here and what happens at death, the two great unanswered questions... they had answers that seemed, at the time, to make complete sense.
When you learn for the first time in your life why you exist and what hope there is in your future, it becomes easy to miss the bending of a lot of finer points.
