Episode4. I found your post here to be very encouraging. It has been years since I "fell away." I am SO grateful that I did.
Part of my problem was embarrassment after having preached and parroted the WTS jargon for so long and living as a Witness. Yes, it was embarrassing.
Today I am still healing from the experiences I had as a JW. The pain was bad. The darkness and veils over the eyes was bad. I have few good memories of the experience. A few, but not many. Mostly I remember oppression, thought control, gossip.
Oh my, the gossip. Oh, excuse me, they don't "gossip", they "share" so that your brothers and sisters can pray for you. What hogwash!
