As to evils amidst us all, which is worse:
a kid who puts on a costume and begs for candy?
or old men who mislead people to their own injury
or even death?
Is it a great wrong to have a child blow out a few
candles on a cake?
Or is it grievously wrong to deceive hundreds of
thousands into working hard for a sterile ministry
taking away great resources that could be devoted
to acts of charity and compassion?
Jesus recognized priorities
So should we.
