For years the organization bragged about itself
being an outstanding example of what Jesus talked
about: "By this all will know that you are my
disciples, if you have love among yourselves".
What exactly does the organization do to fufill this
text?
The quick answer has been "we don't kill each other"
A huge number of Witnesses live in developed nations
that don't go to war with each other. The major
states of Europe haven't fought in 50 years and I
doubt we'll see any attack from Canada any time soon.
Aside from Rwanda or maybe Yugoslavia, this demonstration of love by failing to kill someone
(meditate on THAT phrase for a second!) seems empty.
Further, in contrast, I do come in contact with many
churches and other organizations that go to great
effort and expense to provide for and take care of
their membership - far more than the WTS.
Another foundation stone that's falling out of their
bankrupt house of doctrine?
