One of the fundamental rules of apostacy is rebelliousness and independent thinking. And they make sure that they are that way towards Jehovah's organization, but not satan's.
For people who pride themselves on being independent minded, you apostates are not free or independent if you follow the world.
One can have fun without following the world and getting dressup in costumes especially evil ones. And one can have fun without following the world and its birthday celebrations.
Start thinking about your own ways rather than following the world.
Unless being independent means being such only towards Jehovah's organization.
