Elders in the Christian congregation are responsible to handle violations of divine law, such as stealing, murder, and immorality. What is this little quote actually saying? Plainly, that if a Jehovah’s Witness commits murder, that is a case that should be handled by a JW Cangaroo court! If someone murder anyone, a “congregation investigation might result”.
Absolutely fantastic. And, even better – the authorities should not be alerted. “God did not require congregation elders to enforce Caesar’s laws and codes”, so they don’t need to know!
If anyone knows any quote about internal justice that is WORSE than this one, please let me know. I simplu don’t believe even the Watchtower to have made a statement worse than this.
