I can relate totally: being at a vulnerable point and wanting direction, acceptence, and such. Lovebombing! They drove me to meetings, bought beautiful dresses for my little girl, paid my way to assemblies, and gave me the family I never had. Who wants that bubble popped? Of course, once they have you, you're just another slave. Not welcome in their homes because the wives are afraid you'll steel their husbands, youth not wanting to associate with someone tied down with a kid. Get married so you have a place in the org only to be treated like dirt and told to do drugs to deal with an abusive Witness husband. They popped that bubble for me!
