Sounds very familiar;

I was an ex-alcoholic looking for something more than AA meetings. They sounded like what I was looking for.

I also felt that they picked up on my weaknesses, and used that to bring me in. They were so friendly before I got babtized, then the invites slacked off, the friendly people seemed to be less friendly, and I started seeing things that I never saw as a bible study.

They put on their best for bible studies, then once they got you it all changes. You start to see that they really are no differnt than anyone else, some are even worse.

I to WANTED to believe it all. I WANTED to be part of "Gods chosen few". I WANTED way to much. What I got was a rude awakening! The love they offered was very conditional, the "truth" was really lies, and what I soon WANTED was out.

I to thank God I seen the light.
