I was raised a JW from infancy. Many of my childhood memories revolve around going to the KH, knocking on doors, being made of fun of at school for being a JW, etc.
I am very ashamed of my earleir life, and was fortunate to break free just recently. I was in fact DF'd simply for asking too many questions. I never knew how easy it was to be DF'd.
I simply wanted to "Love Jehovah [Watchtower Org.] with my whole MIND", but couldn't do it.
Loosing many friends (at least I thought they were my friends) and some family members was tough... but getting easier with time.
Just making new friends and strenghening the bonds of those family members that love me no matter what is very healing.
I will not let my children be victims of this cult as both myself and my wife were.
Your fortunate you saw through the charade so quickly.
