There is one thing I just don't get.
Here there is a lot of talk about doctrine and how the JW's are wrong in theirs etc and that should make them see it's not "the one true religion" etc...
When I was studying with them, I liked to ask questions. The reason for why I liked it so much is, that they never had the answer. Now I'm not even talking about some complicated biblical stuff, just like why Adam and Eve are naked in tehir paradise and the ppl in the future paradise all wear clothes, why lions have big bad teeth and if it's the "sin" that makes them eat other animals and us if that's their thing, then what about meat eaters before 4000 B.C.
As I studied longer, my questions became more complicated. I asked them why they said the tree in Daniel 4 meant god when the bible said it meant Nebukadnezzar, I asked them why John 1:1 was wrong and they said it was because he was a new god, so I naturally asked if that could be right because then we would have to break the first commendment (sp?). What they usually did was, they said they just belived this or they said they would answer me in a week.
DOCTRINE smoctrine...then average JW doesn't have a clue about what he belives in. RESEARC smearch, they wouldn't even know what that word means. For them, research means letting some guys who get the profit do the research and then just take it.
How on earth can anyone stay there. I agree with the guy who said it had nothing to do with faith, it's more an emotional thing.
Those who are apostates here...I would like to know WHY you joine in the first place, 'cause I'm not smart but I could see them lying so I honestly don't think you ever belived that bull.
I would ask the JW here, but they don't answer, they just say what they read in the WT.
That's because they are so happy...'cause they read that in the WT.
