Farkel, I still see red every time this comes up. It wasn't that they changed the date, I didn't believe that the generation applied to anyone other than those people that Jesus was talking to in person. What pushed me over the line was the way that the blame was put on the peons, rather than the Borg.
I went to the Watchtower study for this material, just so that I would remember how everyone just sat and nodded along. I have not been to a meeting since.
