How charming! This is delightful!
Sometimes I think these things are not logical to others when they don't comment. It is good to see they are.
As far as others go, others agree on some points and not on others. So the new "rule" is to follow scripture and just do as 1 John 4:1 says:
"Beloved ones, do not believe every inspired expression, but TEST the inspired expressions to see whether they originate with God, because many false prophets have gone forth into the world."
Now that is a basic rule! That means test everything, but also be aware of everything and examine everything! Running from issues isn't gonna get it. So test what I say, test what others say. Listen to all arguments. And sometimes things will remain unresolved for a while. That's okay. At least you're in the habit of testing. But that also means testing your OWN beliefs and teachings via the Watchtower.
They provide scriptures implying they are in harmony with the Bible and implying you can find confirmation and they imply you are invited to look things up. But we know the reality! Once you find a single discipreancy then they shut you down and all inquiry is off limits! Thus they keep the darkness going.
So resist that, and check out all their teachings as well. Then you'll know what is from Jehovah and what is not. Furthermore, you have your own Bible. Read it! See what you learn on your own.
Trust your own instincts. Then ask questions if you have them.
And keep pursuing knowledge. Soon it will be clear who are the "weeds" and who are the "wheat."
But the TESTING must be done by God's word. So you must become skilled in scripture.
H20 is the "cutting edge" if ever. If you can chart through these shark-infested waters then you can handle most anything.
Remember though this basic rule. Basically you have Christendom with lots of misguided and false teachings. Then you have the WTS, who is the "temple organization" with improved and more Biblically founded truth. Then you have to go beyond that and read the scriptures which show where some of their teachings are wrong. So basically from the WTS, it's an individual discovery of your own Biblical truth. So don't be afraid to discover the Bible on your own.
Holy spirit can be granted to anyone for understanding, though others certainly need to listened to and consulted. But not believed verbatim. Make sure what they say is Biblically based and you understand it yourself from the Bible. Then whatever you learn, will be your own and not somebody elses.
And Jehovah will smile upon you and light up your life and give you knowledge.
Best wishes on your continued growth in the truth...
Jehovah wants to help you find him...
Know this.
Cheers,
