I assume that your reference to the Enola Gay was a reference to the bombing of Japan with nukes. This is not a valid comparison for several reasons:
The bombing of cities is not a war crime, it is an aspect of the type of total war fought in WWII.
The United States was not the aggressor in WWII, and did not kill the captured AS A MATTER OF POLICY.
The bombing was not kept a secret, unlike most of the actions of the NAZI henchmen. The fundamental reason for the bombing was to end the war. Compare that to the fundamental reason for the perpetuation of the blood policy, the massive loss of face for the GB if they do reverse themselves.
Really, Ros, your post appears to be an attempt to divert the question to another topic. So what if American generals have blood on their hands? How does that matter here? It certainly does not remove the blood from the hands of the GB.
5GJW, who knows that the U.S. is still issuing the Purple Heart medals ordered for the invasion of Japan, and will not deplete the stock any time soon
