I've spoken to Raymond Franz a number of times when I was going through my disassociation early this month. His two books were an awakening experience for me and my wife. This started the whole road to liberation for us from the organization after we realized the fallacy of the Society's blood issue before reading those books. I also love my wife dearly. I served as the presiding overseer in a Spanish congregation in Brooklyn and she was a regular pioneer. She was a pioneer even while she was undergoing chemotherapy after being diagnosed with liver cancer. I've been helping her in every way I can. I am 35 years old and she is 32. In spite of her situation she has been my support and a blessing to me especially when she agreed whole-heartedly with all the things I've learned and shared with her. She is doing very well now and looking great since it has been more than 6 years since she was diagnosed. There is no better gift than to have a beautiful, loving wife who sticks with you through thick and thin. She tells me that she loves me for the man that I am both spiritually and emotionally. She truly is the best.
