Page 21 of Dec 1 Wt indicates this witness family felt Jehovah arranged for a flood to come and ruin their crops so they would feel free to go to a convention. Of course, the next year when they replanted they had a bumper crop. "This surely helped to convince Mom and Dad that putting full trust in Jehovah would never go unrewarded." Wonder how they felt about Jehovah wiping out their neighbors' crops that year just so they as JWs could attend a convention?
