I don't think you are quite up to date on that one.
Check the "Daniel's Prophecy" Book, page 289:
"When though does Michael "stand up"? When he rises up to take special action. This, Jesus will do in the future. Revelation 19:11-1 prophetically describes Jesus as the mighty Messianic King riding at the head of an angelic ARMY and bringing DESTRUCTION upon enemies of God. Daniel 12:1 continues: "And there will certainly occur a time of distress such as has not been made to occur since there came to be a nation until that time." As Jehovah's Chief Executioner, Christ will bring an end to the entire wicked system of things DURING the foretold "great tribulation."--Matthew 24:21; Jeremiah 25:33; 2 Thessalonians 1:6-8; Revelation 7:14; 16:14,16."
Destruction? In the future? Sounds like an "Armageddon" reference to me if there ever was one. And there are other references as well clearly conveying the "great tribulation" not as the HOLOCAUST (correct interpretation) but as Armageddon, yet to take place.
Matthew 24:29 clearly indicates that the Messiah would arrive "Immediately after the tribulation of those days.....then the sign of the Son of Man will be seen in the clouds..." So the tribulation must occur BEFORE the Messiah takes up kingdom power. It is one of the signs that signal the Messiah is "near to the doors", but not arrived yet. So doesn't look like they have a handle on this one.
And that's the latest. Sorry.
