My response to "roamer" was just a bit deceptive, intentionally so. (Unlike your own, of course...ROFL BTW!)
In a post to disko just down the page a bit, roamer seemed to me to define himself as a common garden variety troll when s/he said: "What's really fun is to pose a question you've always wanted to ask and watch what happens. " I thought that might be the case here, so I put up a nice juicy target. Roamer has been on the board since then, but hasn't responded to his/her own thread. Make of that what you will.
Where and when?
Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 1963. I was just a small boy at the time, and I have only fragmentary memories of that convention, but I have seen photographic evidence that proves that I was indeed one of those nutty people who have campaigned loudly outside of large JW conventions and assemblies wearing a brightly lettered sandwich-board and bearing a fistful of tracts, right there in the family photo album. As a good JW youth, what better way to spend my summer?!
