A few weeks back I gave a public talk. And as I usually do, I changed the outlined considerably, tayloing it to what I felt comfotable speaking about. Well, I was supposed talk about how we should minister to others via preaching and placing publications, etc. Instead I urged the congregation the need to help orphans, widows and those in need. After the meeting the presiding overseer approached me and complimented me on a fine talk adding that he wasn't aware of some of the "adjustments" the society has made. I didn't have the heart to tell him.
