Hi AF:

I only have the 1921 edition of The Harp of God.
My source of information is David Reed who indicates in his book Jehovah's Witness Literature (1993 p. 60) that both "1937 and 1940 editions of The Harp of God retain the old 1874 date for Christ's presence", despite the fact that Rutherford had moved the date of Christ's presence from 1874 to 1914 in the Golden Age of 1930.(p. 503).
The Proclaimers book (pp. 138-139) refers to an even earlier WT of March 1, 1925 where the date of 1914 for the beginning of Christ's rule is mentioned.I do not have this 1925 WT and would like to know what was actually said. Did WTS say they were correcting on the 1874 date or did they sneak in the 1914, without any reference to the 1874 date as they are wont to do! Proclaimers book cannot be relied upon!

As you are aware, but some readers here may not be aware that, all references to Russell being the F&DS which were in the 1921 edition of Harp were removed from the 1928 and later editions by Rutherford.
