Your story reminded me, as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, why I hated Halloween; all those uninvited people knocking on my door and disturbing me when I would rather be relaxing, how rude can you get!
Although the irony is lost on Jehovah’s Witnesses of course. The message THEY bring door to door is devoid of the frightening horror of these yearly visitors, but lovingly presented with the intent to "save from" or "mark for" eternal destruction the life of men, women, children and their pets, depending on their eventual response.
Now?…personally I would rather have the "Treat"
