Unfortunately we know that is the sad reality of what the WTS is really like! You're a criminal if you ask anything they can't answer. It makes you feel guilty to actually think and study the Bible on its own even though that's what they tell you to do: "Read your Bible." But it is not really real.
And what's more, we have feelings. And it actually hurts when we experience this hypocrisy.
But thanks to the internet, I think more and more people are asking questions and finding out the WTS isn't into knowledge exploration, just dictation of their own teachings.
At least we have sense enough not to confuse their distortions with the Bible itself, and can have an open mind to other ideas, no matter where they come from.
Thanks, again, for sharing. Sometimes we forget that all of us here have had a painful orphanage from the WTS; though its great to have survived.
