More proof the WTS is "in spiritual darkness" as to how this is to be fulfilled since they don't have the correct understanding of 1) the "great tribulation" which they now think is Armageddon when Matt. 24:39 clearly indicates the Second Coming would come after the great tribulation, and 2) They have the wrong date for the Kingdom set up.
Simply put, the "great tribulation" happened first and it was the great tribulationo of the "holy ones" that is, the natural Jews and Jehovah's Witnesses, both singled out during the HOLOCAUST.
After that there is a short period of 45 years from 1947 to 1992, the period mentioned in Daniel 12 which starts after the trampling of the holy ones. 1947 was when the Jews returned to Palestine, 1992 was the date for the kingdom to be set up, 45 years later. It would thus be after 1992 that Jesus would send out his angels to collect out the sheep from the goats in all the nations, a process which would determine just who survived Armageddon and who didn't.
It all works out perfectly if you have the correct dating and correct understanding.
