It isn't so much that people look down on those who do manual work for a living, but that so many had to giveu p education because it was lookded down upong to try to better one's education and become an engineer, architect, Computer nerd, doctor, nurse, lawyer, counsellor, etc etc.

In my daughters year 10 class there was an A+ student - she had the ability to become anything she wanted ..... she gave it all up to go full time pioneering .... another young lad who got a high enough score to enter university and do Law if he wanted left and also went door to door. What will he do for a living ....? How much more could he earn with a better education? Yet all along, while they discouraged better education etc they made good use of those who came into the
org who do have good educations?

If you have been given the ability to take on a higher education, and can do so, then you should not hide the talent God has given you. Every job is important .... the Lawyer needs a garbage man to collect his garbage, and if both are using their talents to the best of their ability then they are equal. But if one is burying his talent ......
