No, "confusion" is not the right word. There are no reasons to stay JW. The desire to ignore that fact, the desire to hide from reality, the fear of the truth... "confusion" does not accurately describe them.
I believe "disillusionment" is the word you seek. Perhaps "anger." Certainly "frustration," as we've seen in you as the real truth becomes harder and harder for you to ignore.
