You know Jack, I feel the opposite. I think that people would be more tuned to listen to the org. if it weren't so Pharisaical. Jesus certainly never, NEVER taught, showed, or even hinted about treating people the way the org. has treated its members.

A lady asked me the other day why I thought anyone could believe and accept as truth anything the WT published. I had no answer for her. I remember my dad saying that you can throw a frog in a pot of hot water, and he'll leap out; but, if you place the frog in a pan of cold water and slowly turn up the heat, then you can literally cook the frog.
I think that is a fair analogy of the Watchtower members. If someone is faced with all the dogma that the org. has, then there is no way that any thinking person could reason this to be anywhere near the truth.

I think, as the facts undeniably show, there was a "Coup" in the org. after the death of Russell. A lot of the vain, pompous, irrational beliefs that are present today are carry-overs from the "Judge" himself, and for the life of me, I can't see why the albatross of 1914 is admitted to as being wrong. I think repentance and relinquishing of authority would bring people as myself to reconsider.
