I hope I am wrong, but I do not think this guy(?) is legit. Something about the tone of his/her posts does not have the 'ring of truth'. Now, I have been mistaken before on this type of hunch (after all, I thought the Live Forever book had the 'ring of truth'!), but I cannot see a governing body member using phrases like, "get your goat", "virtual CIA atmosphere", "1914: Get rid of the whole idea and start over". Particularly as the poster refers to 'his' own supposed advancing age.
I suspect that this is a hoax, but have no interest in unmasking the hoaxer. This is not to say that a hoax is necessarily a bad idea. If only one real GB member comes to believe there is another Ray Franz in their midst, it could be enough to provoke debate, and inquiries from bethel workers who might be able finally to clue the GB into what is really happening to the organisation.
