Quite frankly I don't believe who you say you are. And even if your were, so what. Your words sound eloquent as do the words of the liberal elder. You are still under the control of a mind control group who claims to be of God. You say that the GB has usurped the Authority of Christ. So what else is new. Every religion on the face of the planet has done that.
What I am saying is you just don't get it. Both you and the liberal elder are still so close to this cult to really see the real truth about it. You make eloquent statements about helping, you say you need to stay hidden to do your stuff. Of course you are going to say that , you are too close to the situation to see anything else. And perhaps afraid of the consequences of standing up for what is right. Quite frankly you will never achieve many results from hiding, Human history has proven that time and again.
What you don't get, is that your religion , the JWs do not and never have had any truth. Your religion is based on lies and the ravings of self important men. The JWs do not have the truth any more than any other religion. You talk about Jehovah and Christ in eloquent terms but you have never tasted the true freedom that Christ gave us. You speak from your hidden closet and have many hanging on your every word hoping that perhaps you can save the organization from itself. Or you delude yourself into thinking maybe I can effect some change from the inside(its being tried, it didn't work). You really do not have the right to speak about such matters because you have never been on the outside, and as I mentioned before you have no clue about real freedom . The freedom that comes with NOT being apart of any religion or cult or group. True spirituality comes from within, not from any group or religion.
So, IMHO I think you are dead wrong in what you are doing and how you are doing it, you have absolutely no clue what so ever about the real truth about the real facts of life. You have lived and continue to live in your ivory tower. True, your words may sound good, but to me, some one who spent 40 years inside the JW cult and the last 4 years experiencing the real life outside have come to the conclusion that you are powerless to make any changes from a closet. You want to make change, then scream it from the roof tops make as much noise as you can, if you are indeed who you say you are you can effect for more change by boldly taking a stand. If you are who you say you are, many news shows would jump at the chance to tell your story. To me, it takes no courage to peep from a closet, however it does take courage to stand up for what you believe.
So who ever you are, wake up and smell the coffee. Because I don't buy it, it sounds like many others don't either.
So if you want to impress the folks out here, lets hear it in public, lets see how much courage you really do have.
In conclusion, to some, my words may seem harsh and even disrespectful. However what we need now is brutal honesty. We need men to stand up for what they believe. Many have already, and many have paid a high price for their courage and honesty. I have more respect for those than someone you peeps from the closet afraid to be caught.
